The Float.a.Boat retail shop is to be
found in Wantirna Road, Ringwood. We are located directly opposite the Salvation Army Centre next to the pedestrian crossing.
The Ringwood railway Station is within easy walking
distance. Free parking is available in front of the shop and down nearby side streets.
The shop has been designed with customer shopping pleasure
in mind and the surroundings are the extreme opposite
to your typical hobby shop.
As you step through the door, you are transported back in time to an age of
elegance where one is surrounded by the warmth of polished timber pannelling - the perfect
setting for fine showcase models, maritime paintings

and be surrounded with an amazing display of kits, fibreglass
hulls, tools, materials and the finest and largest display
of ship fittings and accessories anywhere in Australia
and all on full display for easy selection and purchasing.
Ask the staff to view the hundreds of ship plans available
from all over the world. Surely something there for
the next project!
And to top it all off, years of experience is available
for the asking, covering such things as research, design,
construction, fit-out and opperation of models.
